      1672: The land owners at this time in the town of Greenwich were 27 and were styled "the 27 proprietors of 1672" and their names on the town records were ... Joseph Finch ... (West Greenwich was then called Horseneck).

      brother Samuel Finch, one half of homestead of father Joseph Finch, deceased.
